Overview
This is a metroidvania game made in one month for Metroidvania Month 18.
Wake up to see the world.
Explore different zones.
Find new mutations and upgrades.
Defeat the runebearers Trice, Quincy and Varden to get to the final lair.
Defeat Kujin.
See your final form.
Get three different endings based on how many optional upgrades you have.
Controls and gameplay
Move with arrow keys and change the screen mode with F1, everything else is told in the game when needed. There is no in-game map and the game is only saved at specific save points and when you move from one zone to another. Saving as often as possible is recommended, the journey is not easy.

yep, the download version flickers the whole time, with enemy speed seemingly increasing and decreasing randomly.
aside from that, nice but sometimes a bit hard game :-)
Hmm, that one I haven't heard of before, the game just runs too fast on my laptop. Maybe the root cause is the same one though.
yeah, sometimes enemies (this becomes VERY apparent in boss fights at times) just seem to move ultra fast for a certain time then slower again and such.
no doubt this is an issue with fram rates and likely the same issue you already mentioned.
Basically enemies often jsut dont seem to have a fixed speed but jsut suddenly go slower and faster, likely linked to fps decrease and increase or such.
I have now published a new version that fixed my problems. Perhaps that issue is now dealt with too.
Hey, I currently made it to the final boss.
however i am still missing like 2-3 upgrades (current stats arelike 4/5 4/5 3/5 or so)
are we sure that all upgrades are there in the game and I just might not have found them yet?
a map of this game doesnt yet exist, does it?
Wow, well done! You're the first one to get there.
There is no map sadly, I had no time to create that. All upgrades are there but some of them are behind hidden pathways. One hidden heart is in the tundra, one pair of lungs is in the water section of the coast and the last lair has one of each upgrade, each one hidden. If you want, you can get all the way back to the beginning from the final boss and get them but it might be troublesome as the area isn't designed for backtracking.
